Compello realises IT environment Remkes Convenience
The Remkes Group has acquired a location in Barneveld (Remkes Convenience). Compello was asked to create a design for this new location so that the most efficient use of the IT environment is made in order to support the business processes optimally. Compello has been the IT service provider of Remkes for many years and therefore has optimal knowledge and experience of the use of IT within Remkes.
Some of the starting points for drawing up the design for the IT environment were a uniform use of IT across the various location, optimal working of the core applications and the maximum use of shared resources. All companies within the Remkes group will use Office 365, Exchange Online, Azure Active Directory and Azure backup. In addition to the shared resources, the necessary IT components are placed at the local branches. A Remote Desktop Farm will be set up at the central location in Epe to provide a central desktop for all employees, so that applications can be accessed at any location. In this way, a hybrid cloud will be created that is suitable for further growth in the future.
After the design has been drawn up, Compello will set up the IT environment in accordance with the choices made. After completion of the implementation, the Barneveld location will be included in the managed services services that Compello already provides for Remkes. Components of these services include service desk support, monitoring of IT components, preventive management, reporting and service management.
